Dr. Richards offers full-service mental health services, counseling and life-coaching for individuals, families, and groups. He is particularly interested in counseling from the perspective of the whole person in his or her environment and employs a positive, solutions-focused approach in collaboration with the client. His areas of specialization include marriage counseling, educational supportive counseling for children and families; clergy mental health; religious-based trauma and toxic faith recovery; and spiritual direction/counseling customized to all religious, faith, or non-religious traditions. He employs a broad range of therapeutic interventions, including Transpersonal and Integrative Therapies, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique, and Psychotherapy.

Terry L. Chapman is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker specializing in the treatment of depression, anxiety and trauma related issues. Terry is founder and Managing Member of TLC Collaborative Counseling, an outpatient private practice in Fairmont, WV. Terry has over 6 years experience as a clinical therapist both with in-patient and out-patient settings with groups, families and individuals.

Terry graduated from West Virginia University Graduate School of Social Work in 2010. In addition, Terry is certified in EMDR and The Daring Way™ and has completed Level 2 training in Internal Family Systems therapy.

Terry strongly believes in a collaborative approach to therapy. Her philosophy is that healing and change can only occur when the client’s own strengths and skills are identified and utilized in treatment planning. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively clarify and address personal life challenges.
